Kasa’s Pizzeria was first owned and operated by Michael Kasapov. Thus the name Kasa’s. It opened its doors to the Pocono’s in 1978. Our owner David Buchter purchased the pizzeria from Mike in 1985. It was a great success. Items on today’s menu were served from the start. At that time you could pick up a video to watch while purchasing your pizza and if you ate inside there were various video arcade machines for your entertainment.
In 1998 fire destroyed the building after a year and a half the new building was complete. Kasa’s Pizzeria reopened its doors again in September 1999. This time with a new look and style. The idea of a play area to entertain kids has been a big success and adding a Taco Bell on the premises has also been a huge success. The new building is now bigger and better but our food still has the same great taste.
On Easter Sunday 2008, our beautiful building was lost to fire. Though it was hard to start over again, we again succeeded to reopen our doors with again a few new twists. Kasa’s and Taco Bell continued with the Play Place and have also added a new Turkey Hill Creamery with a full Ice Creamery Menu and Turkey Hill Ice Cream Cakes to our menu just to name a few.
